Cleaning process
Two methods are particularly suitable for the hygienic cleaning of twin screw pumps. A distinction is made between circulating flushing and loss flushing. The differences are described in this information sheet.
Self-emptying
Twin screw pumps from Jung Process Systems are designed to meet the highest hygiene standards. This also means that the pumps are self-emptying, so that no product residues remain in the pump.
Z-Design
As a rule, the flanges of the twin screw pump are arranged horizontally and vertically so that the medium can be pumped radially into and axially out of the pump, or vice versa. However, variants with a Z-arrangement of the flanges are also possible. In this case, both flanges are arranged vertically or horizontally offset.
Vertical pumps
For areas where only a narrow footprint is available or other process equipment occupies space in the vertical installation, the pumps can also be installed vertically. The pump is then installed on a special base/cover. The flanges are usually also arranged in a Z-design.
