CHEMSPIN ES twin screw pump – the 3-in-1 solution for high viscosities

Infeed, pumping, and flushing with just one pump

The CHEMSPIN ES is a variant of the CHEMSPIN pump series made of stainless steel. The innovative twin screw pump was developed for tasks in which fluids or media with a viscosity of up to 1,000,000 mPa s must be transported. The feed screws of the CHEMSPIN ES are extended towards the inlet so that non-flow capable products below the inlet are drawn in as if by an infeed screw and fed into the pump chamber. In many cases, this eliminates the need for external infeed devices. The pump therefore represents an efficient and economical alternative to other pump technologies. Another advantage of this design is the particularly gentle product feed and the ability to convey solids.

Technical parameters

The infeed, pumping, and flushing are performed in a single component. It is available in sizes 70, 90, and 125. The CHEMSPIN ES has an extended housing and extended feed screws for optimal pumping of highly viscous media up to 1,000,000 mPa s.

The advantages at a glance

Durability

The CHEMSPIN is manufactured from 1.4404 stainless steel as standard. Hardened conveyor elements and contact-free operation result in high wear resistance.

Gas carrying

Self-priming, gas-pumping. Excellent suitability for unloading and transfer operations.

Space requirements

The opposite connection positions make it easier to integrate the pumps into existing systems.

Flexibility

A wide variety of products and a broad range of quantities and viscosities can be covered with just one pump. Reverse operation is possible, greatly reducing the variety of pumps required within a system.

Cavitation

The NSPH values of the CHEMSPIN are very low. This applies to the entire operating range, including operating points close to zero flow. Increasing speeds and viscosities have only a minor influence.

Safe operation

Loaded, abrasive, or lumpy media can be pumped; with a suitable shaft seal, the system is safe-to-run dry or in a dry run. Very low vibration and noise levels.

Other variants

CHEMSPIN STANDARD

The CHEMSPIN is the basic model of the globally proven CHEMSPIN pump series made of high-quality stainless steel.

CHEMSPIN ES

Compact twin screw pump for chemical and industrial applications

CHEMSPIN ATEX

CHEMSPIN twin screw pumps can be used in ATEX zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. Depending on the delivery temperature, temperature classes T2 to T4 can be realized.

CHEMSPIN INLINE

The drop-in replacement solution for replacing other pump technologies. Choice of connections for easy changeover to twin screw pumps.
