Twin screw pump CHEMSPIN standard version

Safe, flexible, gentle.

The CHEMSPIN is the basic model of the globally proven CHEMSPIN pump series made of high-quality stainless steel. Whether aqueous or highly viscous, loaded with solids or gas - the CHEMSPIN is suitable for products of almost any consistency and viscosity up to 1,000,000 mPa s. The pump design is characterized by maximum flexibility and particularly easy servicing. The pump impresses with a very high suction capacity and a low risk of cavitation. It gently transports a wide variety of products and can deliver a flow rate of up to 300 m³/h. The CHEMSPIN is available in 2 versions as a block design or with a free shaft end.

Technical parameters

The CHEMSPIN is available in sizes 50, 70, 90, 105 and 125. The maximum flow rate is approx. 300 m³/h. The delivery pressure is up to 35 bar.

Flexibility is the outstanding strength of the CHEMSPIN. It is significantly greater than that of centrifugal pumps or other positive displacement pumps, such as side channel, progressive cavity or rotary lobe pumps. The CHEMSPIN is therefore predestined for applications with different system characteristics and complex controls. It is also particularly advantageous for lower volume flow limitation.
The CHEMSPIN series is highly flexible in its pumping characteristics and can serve a wide volume and pressure range with just one pump size. To cover this range, several sizes of side channel pumps with up to 8 stages would have to be used.

The advantages at a glance

Resistance

The CHEMSPIN is made of 1.4404 stainless steel as standard. Hardened conveyor elements and contact-free operation result in high wear resistance.

Gas carrying

Self-priming, gas entraining. Excellent suitability for unloading and pumping processes.

Space requirement

The opposite nozzle positions make it easier to integrate the pumps into existing systems.

Flexibility

A wide range of products and a broad volume and viscosity range can be covered with just one pump. Reversing operation possible, the variance of pumps within a system can be greatly reduced.

Cavitation

The NSPH values of the CHEMSPIN are very low. This applies to the entire operating range, even for operating points towards zero delivery. Increasing speeds and viscosities have only a minor influence.

Safe operation

Loaded, abrasive or lumpy media can be conveyed; dry-running safety is ensured with a suitable shaft seal. Very low vibration and noise levels.

Other variants

CHEMSPIN STANDARD

The CHEMSPIN is the basic model of the globally proven CHEMSPIN pump series made of high-quality stainless steel.

CHEMSPIN ES

Compact twin screw pump for chemical and industrial applications

CHEMSPIN ATEX

CHEMSPIN twin screw pumps can be used in ATEX zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. Depending on the delivery temperature, temperature classes T2 to T4 can be realized.

CHEMSPIN INLINE

The drop-in replacement solution for replacing other pump technologies. Choice of connections for easy changeover to twin screw pumps.

Applications

Adhesives

Adhesives mixed with solvents pose a high risk of cavitation in the conveying process. The challenge is that the slightly boiling solvents generally behave differently to the other components.

Underbody protection

Underbody protection is used to preserve vehicles and machines and constantly presents pump manufacturers with new challenges. However, gentle pumping of formulations with sensitive components such as glass beads is not a problem.

Tanks storage /farms

Filling, emptying or circulation pumping are recurring tasks for tank farm operators. Thanks to their high flexibility, screw pumps can handle a wide range of pumping tasks with just one series.

Paints and varnishes

Pulsation-free conveying and filling of colors can be a real challenge. Pigmented colors are usually extremely sensitive and must be conveyed particularly gently so that pigments are not destroyed.

Cleaning agent

Corrosive or abrasive liquids present pumps with major challenges. Especially when pumping cleaning agents, for example, solids can also be conveyed.

Personal advice

Fast and precise communication is our specialty. It is important to us to work together with our customers to find the perfect pump solution for their process. Because only a pump that is precisely matched to the process can be operated reliably and efficiently.
